DESCRIPTION:All-acoustic\, all the time\, Ribeye Cap plays dark folk-country music that moves fast and hits hard. Their sound draws from old- and new-world songs of pain and yearning to get toes tapping and tears flowing. Alongside that\, they transform pop songs into stark\, scuffed-up reinterpretations that are recognizable but unsettled\, pulling them into the same rough landscape as their own material. \nThe vision:  Dark country played with vocal power\, emotional power\, and backstopped by the pneumatic power of the accordion.   \nThe result:  Toe-tappin’\, tear-jerkin’\, jaw-droppin’ songs of pain and yearning\, plus scuffed-up pop covers that are somehow more authentic than the original versions.  No one knows why.  Must be the meat.
