DESCRIPTION:Brett Cassidy is a Calgary\, AB-based multi-instrumentalist that has spent the past decade honing his songcraft as part of a bevy of bands\, playing folk\, country\, indie\, and rock music across Canada. Now\, for the first time\, he has stepped out from the comfort of the background with guitar\, and sometimes banjo in tow\, to play solo songs that combine his favourite bits of all those genres. Drawing as much inspiration from traditional American folk and country music as he does from psychedelic drones\, Cassidy’s songs create a space for those forgotten in time to stomp their feet alongside a suitcase kick drum.  \nYou can often catch him weaving heartbroken cowboy songs of yesteryear from the likes of Townes Van Zandt\, Marty Robbins\, and Hank Williams into his set.

Despite her age\, she has had extensive performance experience as a Senior Singer with The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede from 2020-2023\, and as a solo artist collaborating with other musicians in and around Alberta. In 2023 and 2024 Mya Kate was nominated for the Horizon Youth Award with Country Music Alberta\, as well as released her first single Cowboy When You Wanna Be to all music platforms. Mya Kate’s dreams are as big as the Alberta sky\, and her voice just may be big enough to get her there.

DESCRIPTION:Ross Christopher Fairbairn is a Richmond\, B.C.-born musician and writer. He began writing songs and performing in 2007\, carving out a place in Vancouver’s coffee shop scene\, songwriter circles\, and college radio. By 2012\, he was touring the country as a bassist\, playing from coast to coast across Canada and New Zealand. Since then\, he has backed dozens of artists\, clocked thousands of kilometers on the road\, and built a career on long drives and late nights. \nNow\, he’s stepping into the spotlight with Finally\, At Last\, his debut solo EP\, set for release in June 2025. His sound fuses the raw energy of bands like Green Day and Metallica with the storytelling grit of Fred Eaglesmith\, Danny Michel\, and Tom Waits. He’ll promote the release with a coast-to-coast\, one-month solo tour—21 shows across Canada in cideries\, wineries\, concert series\, and festivals before circling back to B.C. to begin working on his folowup full-length solo album\, Up To Now\, slated for 2026.
