Despite her age\, she has had extensive performance experience as a Senior Singer with The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede from 2020-2023\, and as a solo artist collaborating with other musicians in and around Alberta. In 2023 and 2024 Mya Kate was nominated for the Horizon Youth Award with Country Music Alberta\, as well as released her first single Cowboy When You Wanna Be to all music platforms.
