DESCRIPTION:Everlae is a solo musician\, singer\, and songwriter from Calgary\, Alberta. She began writing songs out of high school after getting her now well-worn Taylor guitar\, recording early demos in a friend’s basement studio. Originally an acoustic singer-songwriter\, she later studied classical voice at the University of Lethbridge but left that path to focus on her own music. Under her previous name\, Amanda Michelle\, she released her debut EP 10 Whole Minutes and performed the release show while eight months pregnant. Over the next eight years\, music took a back seat as she raised four children. Now\, with her kids in school\, Everlae has returned to music with fresh inspiration and a new sound. Still writing on guitar\, she’s now leaning into an ethereal\, indie pop direction inspired by Owl City\, The Chainsmokers\, Lights\, Vanessa Carlton\, Lord Huron\, and Taylor Swift. She is in the middle of the production of her first EP under the name Everlae.

DESCRIPTION:Brett Cassidy is a Calgary\, AB-based multi-instrumentalist that has spent the past decade honing his songcraft as part of a bevy of bands\, playing folk\, country\, indie\, and rock music across Canada. Now\, for the first time\, he has stepped out from the comfort of the background with guitar\, and sometimes banjo in tow\, to play solo songs that combine his favourite bits of all those genres. Drawing as much inspiration from traditional American folk and country music as he does from psychedelic drones\, Cassidy’s songs create a space for those forgotten in time to stomp their feet alongside a suitcase kick drum.  \nYou can often catch him weaving heartbroken cowboy songs of yesteryear from the likes of Townes Van Zandt\, Marty Robbins\, and Hank Williams into his set.

Primarily a skilled guitarist and vocalist\, Matt performs a wide range of originals and cover songs in a variety of styles. He even takes requests making for an endlessly entertaining solo show. \nHe has performed all over western Canada in honkytonks\, bars\, and world class resorts such as The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Matt has also played across Canada\, literally.  This includes playing on the Via Rail train over a 4 day cross Canada trip as well as stand alone shows in Toronto\, Ottawa\, Hamilton and Quebec City. Matt was also featured performing his song “Abigail” in the first episode of Paramount’s “Joe Pickett”!
