Delight Your Friends, Family, Colleagues or Guests with Prairie Dog brewing Events!
We now have a streamlined self-service portal for quoting and requesting event bookings! Our portal lets you select a date and number of guests, make menu/entertainment selections (optionally), and build your own custom quote for the date and type of event you’re looking for. Submit your booking request, along with a refundable deposit, to fast-track your request through our approval process and secure your booking date. Don’t worry, if you aren’t finding an option that works, you can submit the request without menu selections and we’ll work out the details together!

Are you looking for a unique and conversation-friendly fun event venue? We could be the perfect place! We have ample space for event bookings of any size from 30-250 people (for less than 30 people, simply make a reservation). We also have a huge stage ready for full bands to play on, an A/V system ready for video presentations and public speaking, and pool tables for your guests to enjoy while they attend your event! Our on-site microbrewery makes delicious craft beer and offers fun and informative tours, and our bar serves up a variety of cocktails, highballs, gluten free and non-alcoholic options, while our kitchen churns out allergy-inclusive mouth-watering Southern-style barbecue and comfort food buffets for meat eaters and vegetarians, alike.
We book Stampede events inside and out on our patio, Christmas and holiday parties, corporate team-building events and tastings, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, celebrity presentations and even the occasional celebration of life!
We have experience with all sorts of events including weddings, corporate parties (including Holiday and Stampede parties), large birthday and graduation parties, silent auctions and other charity events, and even celebrations of life. Our massive BBQ pit gives us the ability to pump out a lot of high-quality meat for large Stampede and other corporate events.
We’d love to get started on your event booking today, please start by reading over our Events Menu (at left) and familiarizing yourself with our options, pricing, and booking policies, and if you are ready to speak with a coordinator, fill out our event booking form by clicking the red button above or below. Our coordinator should be able to get back to you within the next 2-4 days, subject to availability.
Please keep in mind that event bookings require a minimum 50% deposit at least 14-days prior to the event date, a signed contract and we need final guest numbers and final invoice payment at least 7 days prior to an event.
How to Make an Event Booking
1. Gather the Required Information
We’ll ask you for the following before we can provide you with any sort of pricing estimates or availability information:
- What type of event would you like to have? ie. Wedding reception, corporate Stampede or holiday party, wedding anniversary, celebration of life, team outing, etc.
- When would you like to have the event, and how flexible are you about the date and time?
- How many guests are expected to attend?
- Do you want to provide food or drinks to your guests or have them pay for their own items?
- Do you have a budget for the event? Either per-attendee or altogether? See our Events Menu to get a sense of what event buffet pricing looks like or, better yet, use our new self-service quoting and booking request portal to get most of the details sorted instantly!
2. Use our Self-Service Portal or Contact Our Events Team to Request a Quote
With the important information above ready to go, you’re now ready to get a quote. We strongly recommend you try out our new self-service booking and quoting portal, which fast-tracks the process by providing you with relevant options and pricing upfront while providing us with the details we need from you to cement your booking. For those who are unable to use the portal or have special requirements or concerns, you’ll need to talk with our Event Facilitator and have them generate a booking quote for you. There are 2 ways to contact them, either:
- Use our instant quoting and booking portal to provide our events team with all the details they need to get started; or
- Email events@bbq.beer with the information gathered above
Our Events Facilitator or a restaurant manager will reach out to you to discuss your event and generate pricing for you. Note that we do not recommend walking in to discuss events without an appointment set by email beforehand. Our Event Facilitator works part time, 10-15 hours per week split over 2-3 days, so she may not be here or may already be engaged with other clients if you arrive without prior arrangements.
3. Pay a Deposit and Sign Our Event Contract to Secure Your Booking
Event bookings often require Prairie Dog Brewing to displace large areas of guest seating that would normally be offered to indoor dining reservations and walk-in seating (at a typical $30-$50 spend per guest per table turnover). Likewise, event bookings may require us to order and prepare extra meat and supplies to make food for the planned number of event attendees, to schedule extra staff, and to rent or purchase equipment in support of the event. Therefore, it is critical that we have legal assurances that your event and any previously quoted spends associated with it will be paid, regardless of how many attendees actually participate, in the form of a signed event contract. Those using our self-service portal accept our Terms and Conditions and pay a deposit at the time they make the booking request. Those not using our booking portal must pay a deposit to secure your event booking, typically 50% of the quoted event pricing. Competitive booking dates and times are given to the first party that signs a contract and provides a deposit.
