Table Reservations Are Important!
With all of the awesome event bookings, live music and other activities going on at our Calgary Chinook Brewpub, along with our delicious and inclusive BBQ menu and microbrewed craft beer out in the market, it should be no surprise that support is building for Prairie Dog Brewing, making it a challenge to walk in and find a table during peak business hours, even on some weekdays. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to call us or click here to make a reservation for your anticipated party size and time of day well prior to your visit, especially for larger group sizes (which we love and are uniquely suited for!).
We frequently have to block reservations for upcoming busy dates because we’ve already reserved all of our indoor dining room’s reservable seating capacity. So be among those early birds that get their reservations before we have to block them, and call us or click here to make your reservation right now!
Not only does your reservation guarantee you hassle-free seating at an appropriately sized table for your group, but it also tells us how many guests to expect that day and to better manage our staffing levels and prepare enough of the delicious BBQ meats and sauces, and those big breaded cheese curds that you love so much!
Large Party Dining Reservations
Prairie Dog Brewing is uniquely well-suited for parties and other large group outings. We have many 10-seat and 12-seat tables, and we’ll happy accept reservations for group sizes up to 24 people (consisting of 2 of our largest tables). Our online reservation system doesn’t support making reservations across multiple tables, so please call us to make a reservation for 13-24 people.
And remember, we are a “tip not expected” establishment and won’t charge you an automatic gratuity just for bringing a large party. We also don’t charge a mandatory deposit/fee for reservations, so please let us know (by telephone) if your party size changes or if you need to cancel, that way we aren’t turning away other guests while your reserved table sits empty!
If you are looking to book for more than 24 people, to use our stage and A/V system, or to have a food buffet, you need to make an event booking.
No Patio Table Reservations
The availability of our patio seating is highly weather-dependent and changes from hour to hour, making it quite difficult for us to coordinate calling off reservations or moving them indoors when bad weather threatens. Therefore we’ve elected to keep patio seating first-come, first-served only.
